WELCOME REMS Parents

REMS' Family Engagement mission is to build stronger relationships with families and communities through partnerships, to ensure that

1. families are well-equipped,
2.  communities are resourceful,
3. students have what they need to receive an education in as environment they deserve. 

REMS' Family Engagement vision is to work to address the needs of families and students at school and home, though transformed communities and partner. We will work to address the whole child for academic and social success to improve at a strategic, aggressive pace. 

• Provide a welcoming environment for families and invite them to participate as equal partners in the education of their children
• Jumpstart a Parent-Led Organization
• Assist with removing barriers that hinder families from becoming partners in education through providing necessary resources
• Seek out businesses/organizations that are willing to partner with REMS
• Create a uniform/school supply closet for students who are in need
• Work closely with displaced families to encourage them emotionally and provide them with the necessary supplies, which will promote their children's academic success
• Work with the secretary/attendance liaison with SART to help remove barriers that hinder their child(ren) from coming to school. Also, encourage those students who show up every day through C.O.M.E to win incentives
• Work closely with FEEDER PATTERN schools so they will trust sending Raleigh-Egypt Middle their very best students
• Engage parents/caregivers in supporting school-wide, classroom, and parent involvement activities through volunteering.
